The Whiting School of Engineering provides academic instruction in a wide range of disciplines in nine undergraduate departments, ten graduate departments, Engineering Programs for Professionals (part-time), and the Center for Leadership Education.

Throughout the school, cross-disciplinary study and research is integral to both the undergraduate and graduate educational experience and students and faculty frequently collaborate, expanding the traditional boundaries of academic fields of study.

In addition to these academic offerings, the School of Engineering is part of the world-renowned, multi-disciplinary network of institutions that comprise the Johns Hopkins University.

Whiting School students benefit from opportunities to take classes and conduct research outside their major areas of study, drawing upon the considerable strengths and academic offerings of the university’s Krieger School of Arts & Sciences, Bloomberg School of Public Health, the schools of Medicine and Education, the Carey Business School, and the Peabody Institute.
